Fixed-star astrology contains multiple methods rather than one extra layer of zodiac degrees. Contemporary work by Bernadette Brady uses parans and stellar phases, while other practitioners compare projected ecliptic longitudes. Historical Behenian star selections belong to a particular transmitted corpus and should not be assumed to equal any modern bright-star list.
Mythology & symbolic world
Star and constellation stories supply cultural interpretations. Brady's Starlight explicitly joins sky maps, myths and planetary-star combinations. The culture and source of a story matter: a catalog identifier alone does not establish one universal meaning.
Provenance: where the rules come from
Name the star catalog, epoch corrections, visibility assumptions and contact method. A paran relates angular events such as rising or culmination; equal ecliptic longitude is a different condition.
