History & development
Galactic and whole-sky astrology extends astrological attention to objects beyond the familiar planets. Philip Sedgwick’s autobiography dates his own interest in the Galactic Center to a 1976 lecture by Joyce Werhman. This documents one influential practitioner’s development, not the sole origin of every deep-sky approach.
Mythology & symbolic world
Practitioners build symbolism around astronomical names and phenomena: a galactic center may become an image of orientation or origin, while attraction may become a metaphor for attention and belief. Such readings are interpretive analogies. An actual galaxy or gravitational region does not come with an experimentally established personality meaning.
Provenance: where the rules come from
Separate the astronomical catalogue from the practitioner’s symbolism. Here Galactic Center refers to the Sgr A* direction; M87 is a selected proxy for the astrological Super Galactic Center. The Great Attractor catalogue entry represents a chosen direction toward an extended region.

Interpretation methods
Coordinate-first comparison
Specify the object, epoch, reference frame and orb, then compare longitude contacts with actual angular separation on the sky.
A one-degree longitude conjunction can still place two objects far apart because their latitudes differ.
Attributed symbolic reading
Choose one named practitioner and clearly label the transition from positional data to metaphor.
A reflection on attraction is optional; the coordinate calculation does not demonstrate the metaphor.
