Sanskrit numerical compound: saptaviṃśāṃśa.

Saptaviṃśa means twenty-seventh and aṃśa a portion. The numerical name describes D27; it does not mean that a body occupies the same named lunar mansion in the original sky.

Twenty-seventh-part mapping convention

This division partitions each zodiac sign, whereas the equal nakshatra scheme partitions the whole zodiac. They share the number 27 but answer different coordinate questions. Interpretive claims about personal capacity are separate from these calculations.
