Some Nadi traditions describe manuscripts as statements composed by sages or divinities before a client’s birth. That is a practitioner provenance claim, not a historical fact established by finding a matching reading. Bhrigu attribution likewise needs manuscript-specific investigation.

The named corpus, manuscript or edition is the essential starting point. A software package offering a generic Nadi or Lal Kitab button cannot establish that it reproduces every practice under those names.
