Alice Bailey's esoteric astrology belongs to a modern spiritual teaching corpus maintained by Lucis Trust. The seven rays are central to that corpus. This is a particular lineage of esoteric thought, rather than a collective name for all spiritual astrology or a reconstruction of ancient astronomy.
Mythology & symbolic world
Lucis Trust describes seven expressions of spiritual unity: Will or Power, Love-Wisdom, Active Intelligence, Harmony through Conflict, Concrete Knowledge, Devotion or Idealism, and Ceremonial Order. These link cosmic, psychological and spiritual categories. Calling them 'rays' does not identify them with measured electromagnetic or particle radiation.

Use Bailey's texts and the lineage's explanations for ray names and correspondences. Each claimed sign, planet or rulership relationship should carry its source rather than be silently borrowed from ordinary natal astrology.
