Greek loan into Sanskrit: horā.
Monier-Williams identifies horā as borrowed from Greek and records hour, half-sign and horoscopy senses. Here it names the half-sign chart; a planetary hour is a different application of the same word.

Declared Hora construction
The half-sign assignment can be checked against the source longitude. A Sun/Moon division does not uniquely settle how every school draws a Hora chart; the two-sign construction must be named. Neither its geometry nor its lexical history verifies a life interpretation.
