Tājika derives from Persian tāzīg, Arab, ultimately associated with the Arabic tribal name Ṭayyiʾ. Indian usage designated Perso-Arabic people and astrology.

Historical annual-chart method
A solar return provides the astronomical anchor, while Tajika supplies its own aspects and judgment rules. A natal interpretation or generic transit reading cannot stand in for that method merely because the same planets appear.
