Word origin, evidence & sources
Decanus meant a leader of ten. The astronomical and astrological label retains this association with ten.
A zodiacal decan is a reproducible ten-degree partition once a zodiac is named; Egyptian stellar decans arose in a different calendrical and observational setting. Shared terminology does not justify importing one system’s stars, dates, or meanings into the other without identifying the method.
Dreamspell →
Also: Galactic Signature · 13 Moon calendar
A modern spiritual calendar framework; its counting conventions are distinct from historical and living Maya calendars.
Word origin, evidence & sources
Dream plus spell evokes dream and enchantment. The Foundation for the Law of Time uses Dreamspell as the distinctive title of its calendar synthesis.
Its creators prescribe a distinct modern counting and interpretive system. Dates can be reproduced within those rules, but similarity in numbers or names does not make Dreamspell equivalent to historical or living Maya calendar practice.
